NEW: Year 11 Celebration and Leavers' Day - Weds 26th May
Year 11 students attending the leavers' celebration event will need to meet their tutors at the Crate cafe in the Sixth Form area, at 11.30am. Students will need to make their own way into college and will be expected in smart dress. Following the event, students will be leaving at approximately 2.15pm, if they are being collected or walking home. If students need to catch a school bus, they will be able to remain in the Sixth Form Common Room until 3.30pm and travel home as usual. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to invite parents to join us for the leavers' celebrations this year.
NEW: Making appointments
We would remind parents that if they wish to speak to a member of staff, to please phone the college to make an appointment. This is to ensure that our current COVID protocols are followed and to also save you a potentially wasted journey should you come into College without an appointment and the member of staff is teaching or unavailable. Thank you.
NEW: Paris Trip - Year 7/8
As some of the restrictions relating to foreign travel and school trips begin to lift, we are able to begin the planning stages of the Paris Trip for 2022. Ordinarily this would be a trip which would take place in the spring of year 8, however we are hoping to run two separate trips during Spring 2022: one for year 8 (current year 7) and one for year 9 (current year 8) students. If your year 7 or year 8 child would be interested, please refer to the expression of interest email which was sent out earlier this week. We hope to be able to confirm finer details soon.
NEW: Art Club
As Year 11 students leave, the afterschool Year 11 Art Club will now be open to Year 10 students from 25th May, every Tuesday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm with Mrs Greenwood.
NEW: Aspirations opportunities
Articulacy - Year 9 and 10 targeted students have received letters from their English teachers and need to return their consent slips ASAP to MS Devine via their English teacher in the envelope provided. NOTE: All students involved have also been emailed with a recording to watch from students who have done this programme before to give a little more information.
