NEW: Uniform

We wanted to thank you for your support in ensuring your child was dressed in full uniform after Easter. We know it has not been easy to source some uniform items and, from the donations we have received, we have been able to support many young people in looking smart in their uniform again. Once again, if you require support in sourcing any appropriate uniform items, please let us know.

NEW: Extra-curricular clubs and activities

Please access this link for details of the extra-curricular clubs and activities which will be running through the Summer Term. For any queries about clubs, students should speak to the named staff members running the clubs and also take note of any additional information provided regarding accessing club venues. All extra-curricular clubs and activities continue to run in separate year group bubbles and with a range of Covid risk reduction measures in place.

REMINDER: Non-Uniform Day - Friday 30th April

Friday 30th April is our next non-uniform day in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance and Shelterbox. To make a donation to either charity, please use the following links:

REMINDER: Student self-testing

Students have been issued with additional packs of self-testing kits through their tutors this week. Please encourage your child to test twice weekly on a Sunday and a Thursday evening, and to report results to the college and the NHS.

Don’t forget to record ALL Home-Test results in TWO ways:

1. NHS: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result

NEW: The Big Ask Survey

The new Children’s Commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, has launched The Big Ask. This is a survey which aims to find out children’s concerns and aspirations about the future, so that we can put children at the heart of our country’s recovery from the Covid-19 outbreak.

We will be sending the students the survey link through their school email account. There is also an adult survey for parents and carers if you wish to share your views about the future for children and young people today.

REMINDER: Aspirations Opportunities - please sign up to keep informed

With the increased use of digital communication currently, please encourage your child to regularly check their college emails. In addition, if you haven't already and are able to, please sign up to the following closed Facebook groups to receive details and signposting to the vast range of aspirations opportunities relevant to your child.
