NEW: Message from Mrs Seward-Adams
Thank you for all the wonderful comments of support received during our Ofsted visit this week. Your kindness and words of encouragement were very much appreciated. We will ensure that a copy of the full report is available to you on its release but, in the meantime, I would like to personally acknowledge the hard work and dedication of both staff and students. The inspectors made particular note of the students’ politeness, enthusiasm for learning, and loyalty to their college alongside the expertise, care and dedication shown by the staff. As always, I am immensely proud of the Bodmin College community.

On Tuesday 30th November and Tuesday 7th December, Year 11 will take part in mock interviews with a range of local employers. This will be during their PE lessons. Further details regarding which students will be involved on which days and how they should prepare are being emailed to Year 11 parents separately.
NEW: Parent Zone
This website provides advice, information and support for parents in regards to their child's gadgets and apps they may use. It has useful information on apps your child might be using and some safety features you may want to install.
Also, in preparation for Christmas, this page (although published in 2020) has some great tips on how to set up screen time and parent locks on a variety of devices before you wrap them up.
Although we are able to provide students with a disposable mask should they forget to bring one to school, as an eco-school, we would like to encourage students to bring a re-usable mask. These are available to purchase in the College online shop for £1.10.
REMINDER: Supporting young people with anxiety
Please see this poster containing information about Silver Cloud - a digital mental health platform containing details of a programme for supporting anxious teenagers and their parents. This includes details about how parents/young people can make a referral for support with anxiety and also where to access information which may help.
