ANIMAL CARE TECHNICIAN

As part of the College's Animal Care BTEC course, we house a wide range of animals on our site including geese, pygmy goats, poultry, rabbits, guinea pigs, bearded dragons and tortoises.

Whilst our students and Head of Animal Care are responsible for our animals during term time, we seek to appoint a caring, reliable and responsible Technician to take responsibility of the care and welfare of the animals at weekends and one day during the week during term time and also during the school holidays (weekday and weekend working).

Hours:

  • 4.5 hours per week during term time (worked over one weekday and Saturday and Sunday)
  • 14 hours per week during school holidays (six days per week, including weekends)
