Dear Prospective Year 7 Students, Parents and Carers,

We welcome the opportunity to meet prospective students with their parents/carers at Bodmin College on Thursday 10th October 2023 to give you the opportunity to look around our school.

The Open Evening will give you the opportunity to meet our Head of School, Miss White and our Senior Leadership Team. You will be able to have a tour of our school, meet members of our teaching team, SEN team, Safeguarding Team and our brilliant students!

The school will be open to all from 5:30-7:00pm. Tours will begin at our studio entrance or our main reception where you will be welcomed by a member of SLT and provided with the tour route for the evening. Our Year 11 Student Leaders will line the route to ensure you are able to visit all curriculum areas. We envisage that the tour will take around 45 minutes so please consider staggering your arrival, arriving any time between 5:30-6:15pm.

Accessible Tour

From 5:00-5:30pm, we will be offering accessible tours for anyone with accessibility requirements or those with identified SEND who may find busy environments challenging. Our SEND Team and Student Leaders will be available to support.

Head of School Presentation

We will be hosting x3 Head of School presentations in 'The Studio' at 17:30, 18:00 and 18:30. No booking is required for this presentation, however if we fill capacity we will signpost you to the next session.

Car Parking

We expect our open evening to be busy, so we would encourage you to walk, if possible. If you are arriving before 5:00pm for our inclusive tour, please use the car park at the front of school. As soon as the front car park is full, we will use the tennis courts and the bus bay at the rear of school. Members of staff will be available to assist with car parking.
